Friday: Belle & Sebastian

Veteran Scottish indie pop act with new original film soundtrack LP, Days of the Bagnold Summer, out now.


Saturday: Charli XCX

British pop singer with emphatic new LP, Charli, embracing noise-pop and industrial-pop to experimental edges.

Thursday

The Comet is Coming - UK nu-jazz outfit fronted by Shabaka Hutchings and released recent cosmic LP, Trust in the Lifeforce of Deep Mystery (review can be found here).


Yussef Dayes - London-based experimental jazz drummer and producer, recently supported Kamasi Washington on UK tour.


Friday

Chai - Japanese glitzy-punk outfit with feminist-driven sophomore LP, Punk, received well by lauded reviews.


Helado Negro - Latin-American folk musician Roberto Carlos Lange showcasing impressive synth-folk LP of recent, This is How You Smile, review can be found here.

BEA1991 - Independent artist stretched between UK, US, and the Netherlands, uniquely combining elements of alt-pop, soul, and folk - review of debut LP can be found here.


Jamila Woods - American R&B artist with a political / introspective twist on emphatic new LP, Legacy! Legacy! Legacy!, should not be missed. Review can be found here.
